Review Slime Taoshite
Anime Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita is one of the anime that feels so fun this season. At the beginning of the episode, the anime’s story briefly touched on the issue of overworking that also happened to the main character. After going through the intro that was shown briefly and concisely, the fun element in this anime was finally felt.
Like in other isekai (or narou-Kei) themed anime, the Slime Taoshite 300-nen anime presents an excellent OP (overpowered) protagonist in the figure of Azusa Aizawa. But slightly different from the other series, Aizawa was surprised and tried to avoid the spotlight of his villagers because of his OP status. This is the source of the comedy in this series and it is successfully executed so that the various jokes feel right on target. Of course, this is also reinforced by the presence of the figure of Aizawa whose character feels relatable, especially for viewers who feel tired of being too busy in the real world.
At the end of the episode, we also meet Laika, the dragon girl who had become Aizawa’s “sparring” opponent. Judging from the chemistry, it seems that Laika and Aizawa’s relationship will be one of the spices that color the story of the Slime Taoshite 300-nen anime. In addition, there might be many other potential stories that this anime has (including the issue of overworking which was mentioned again when Aizawa tried to repair Aizawa’s house) that would make the story even more enjoyable and perhaps also touching.
