Airing October 3rd! Anime Waccha PriMagi!. Anime Waccha PriMagi! in TAKARA TOMY ARTS and Syn Sophia’s latest television series titled Pretty Series franchise, revealed on Sunday, September 26, 2021, that the show has featured singer Saho Aono as Jennifer Sumire Sol. The character is the winner of the previous PriMagi Grand Festival.

The series will premiere on October 3, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo and its five affiliates.

Storyline

This new series continues the conceptual motifs of song, dance and costumes, and also adds a magical theme. First-year student Matsuri Hibino loves festivals, and dreams of one day acting in PriMagi, a magical form of theatrical entertainment brought about by singing, dancing and costumes. The day comes when a passionate and troubled wizard Miyamo from the Wizarding World arrives and hunts Matsuri for PriMagi. Competitors race together to reach the top of Primagi.

Junichi Sato (Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Hugtto! Precure) is joining the franchise for the first time as executive director of the new anime, and Kōsuke Kobayashi (Fairy Ranmaru, chief director of Idol Time PriPara) is serving as series director for the first time in the franchise at Tatsunoko Productions. and Dongwoo A&E. Chi Man Park (Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live) is serving as chief director, and Fumi Tsubota is returning to the franchise after seven years to oversee the series scripts.

Pretty Series began with the arcade game Pretty Rhythm: Mini Skirt from syn Sophia in 2010. The game inspired four TV anime series, as well as five anime films and the King of Prism spinoff franchise. The sequel game PriPara (Prism Paradise) was launched in 2014 and inspired four TV anime series and four anime films.

The first season of the Kiratto Pri☆Chan anime premiered in Japan in April 2018. The second season then premiered in April 2019. The third season premiered in April 2020 and ended in May 2021.

Idolland PriPara, the smartphone game, and anime based on the PriPara franchise, has been postponed from spring 2021 to summer 2021.
