Synopsis Anime Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku (2022). Based on information shared by Funimation regarding the number of episodes of the anime adaptation of Hiro’s manga, Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku is confirmed to have a total of 12 episodes. Meanwhile, details regarding the sale of BD/DVD packages will be announced as soon as possible.

The Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku anime will begin airing today in Japan, while Crunchyroll and Funimation will be in charge of distributors for regions outside of Japan. In addition to information regarding the number of episodes, several previews of episode 1 were also shared.


Akebi has been accepted into Eikoume Middle School, the same school as his mother. She has dreamed of wearing a sailor suit ever since her idol, Miki Fukumoto, wore it. After donning a new sailor suit designed by her mother, Akebi attends the acceptance ceremony.

Akebi was excited, thinking “I wonder if I can make more friends?”. But looking around, they saw that all the students were wearing their jackets. The old school uniform has changed from a sailor uniform to a jacket.
