Mashiro no Oto

In this anime, there is a rivalry between Setsu and Souichi. Both of them have very striking differences. Souichi is supported by a master shamisen who becomes his mentor. It made him have a lot of experience in tournaments. Meanwhile, Setsu is assisted by Wakana.

Even so, Setsu admits that it wasn’t because of him that made him proficient in shamisen, but also because of the support of the people beside him. Even Wakana also made Setsu understand how to become a true artist in the future.

Character Mashiro no Oto

Setsu who is the protagonist of Mashiro no Oto is already considered a genius in playing shamisen. This series illustrates how the challenges of an artist can grow tirelessly. His struggles as a highly gifted 16-year-old seem confused by his world as an artist.

When he wants to create a spectacular show, Setsu is like a child who understands the concept but is very difficult to express. This made the audience confused about what Setsu wanted. As a result, the performances are always unsatisfactory for Setsu.

The part that the audience might not like is the figure of Umeko who is a supporting character. Umeko’s character is like an antagonist in Indonesian soap operas. For example, he had insulted his mother, humiliated his appearance during an award ceremony, made a mockery of his self-paid fake competition.

Inevitably some netizens don’t like his character and think he is similar to Malty in the Tate no Yuusha anime. Even though his father also had almost the same attitude, he was still better.
