Isagi Yoichi, a striker, accepted the invitation to join the program shortly after his team missed the opportunity to participate in the Nationals, due to passing the ball to a less skilled teammate, who missed a shot, which shows Isagi’s cowardice by not daring to finish the play herself.
Coach Igo Jinbashi plans to end a radical new education system with the concept of “Japan is weak in football”: to isolate and monitor 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called the “Blue Lock”. To the hard training that will create “the biggest, most talented and selfish striker in the world”.
